Painting and wargaming in 3mm is the niche of the niche, but I think it could help the TMP community and any enthusiastic hobbyist out here if there would be a special place to talk about 3mm miniatures. Or should we use 6mm?
2 or 3mm miniatures are available at many manufacturers like Vanguard Miniatures, Ground Zero Games, Irregular Miniatures, Oddzial Osmy/PicoArmor and for WW2 – Heroics and Ros and Oddzial Osmy/PicoArmor and scenery from Brigade Models and who knows from how many others. Post other examples, 'cause I know there are.
I can't say if I will paint more in 3mm than in 6mm in the future, but it surely is an interesting development of the hobby, and this for some years now. It needs acknowledgment.

Below are some Centurion and Skinnerz Tank in 3mm, from Vanguard Miniatures

Valderian.

There's 2 Facebook pages only concern themselves with 2&3 mm wargaming. 1700 members between the two.

Both are lively groups, folks are showing off their painting, others their basing style. The 3D printing crowd have a high profile.

You should check them out.
