Does anyone produce a 1/144th scale Landrover, suitable for the Danish Army during the Cold War?

Looking for both open-topped ones equipped with the 106mm Recoilless Rifle, as well as the TOW launcher. Ideally, with both, so they can be swapped out. Closed top models might be useful too.

The Danish model is apparently, the lightweight, airborne vehicle produced by the British.

I found one on Shapeways, but don't want to pay $14.00 USD+ for such a little vehicle. May as well switch to 1/100th scale and pay half that, for a metal one, if I can't find one for a reasonable price.

I prefer metal minis, but will consider others as well.

Thoughts?

We've got Land Rovers in our 10mm / 1:150th Falklands British range here: link They're open topped but we don't have any weapon options for them unfortunately.

Thank you for the update.

I wasn't aware of, or had forgotten about those.

It looks like they'll work just fine.

Now, I just need to figure out if the "lightweight" airborne version of the Landrover has the long, or short wheelbase.

Any chance of the RRs, or TOW launchers being made available anytime soon, with the upcoming other Cold War vehicle releases?

Butler's Printed Miniatures has Series 1, 2 ,and 3 in base and AT roles with RR and ATGM. Google them.

We've got the RR's all sculpted, we just need to get some crewmen done for them and then we can get them released. We don't have any TOW plans at the moment though.

There will be Cold War releases coming in the longer-term but we're trying to work chronologically through the decades. Yom Kippur will be our next main focus, towards the end of this year hopefully.

@Thresher Now, I just need to figure out if the "lightweight" airborne version of the Landrover has the long, or short wheelbase.

Lightweight Landrovers were short wheelbase only, the aim being to make a vehicle light enough to carry by helicopter. This was achieved by fitting easy to remove panels. The axle ends were also flush instead of protruding to allow them to be parked side by side in cargo aircraft.

Thank you for the info.

I really appreciate it.

@newarch the Oxford Diecasts land rover range covers a wide variety of series options form MK.I onwards. Including the lightweight landy.
