Hi Everyone, continuing the in the spirit of ACWary, I ran a fictional RFF scenario at a local convention.

It looks well done Stew, and your 15s? with 10mm buildings mesh nicely on your board. I also like that you created a hypothetical scenario to present, that focuses on drawing the sides towards some salient map objective (by compartmentalizes a battlefield down towards some hot zone(s)….."The Hornet's Nest"). This approach could easily work for many ACW [and other] battlefields, and by crafting it as a hypothetical encounter maintains player fog of war, while giving the game designer the latitude to create an interesting terrain layout from their available kit. (I've called the concept locally playing Pocket Battles) Thanks for posting this for us here! |

Thanks Flywire. I agree with all you stated and enjoy making up scenarios. Though the building are 15mm and not 10. I know lots of people use 10 with their 15s but since all my guys are from Blue Moon which are large 18mm plus on a 3mm base I prefer the bigger buildings. 😀 |

Stew, I see, Timecast has some of the same buildings for both 10mm & 15s. Hey, keep up your good efforts here, as your approach is working "outside the box" IMO – and interesting. |
