The key to skirmish games of any period is close attention to terrain and this is especially true to Viewnam…I understand some gamers prefer minimalistic terrain that doesn't get in the way of the game, but if you really want to game Vietnam you need good terrain and this game fails to provide adequate terrain. Where exactly is the "Hill"?

oldnorthstate, my guess is that they were trying to keep the figures from falling over and so modeled the hill with less of an incline. Maybe a movement and or shooting penalty was applied depending on which direction you are facing.
