They say "art imitates life", and sometimes "life imitates art". Star Trek was a great show ahead of its time. As a cadet at the Air Force Academy my squadron patch had a depiction of the USS Enterprise on it. I was in Cadet Squadron 19 (one of 40 squadrons), we were proudly known as "Starship 19". I think it is a fitting tribute to a great and imaginative mind of Gene Roddenberry who foresaw humankind's journey into space. I think the new Space Force logo looks great. |

I used to work at HQ AFSPC. I always thought the delta symbol looked like a paper airplane. |

the startrek command (1993)could be said to be rip off the old Air Force space command patch (1982). Also compare the old Apollo Patch link |
