On January 5, 1895, Captain Alfred Dreyfus, a young promising officer, is degraded for spying for Germany and is sentenced to life imprisonment on Devil's Island. Among the witnesses to his humiliation is Georges Picquart, who is promoted to run the military counter-intelligence unit that tracked him down. But when Picquart discovers that secrets are still being handed over to the Germans, he is drawn into a dangerous labyrinth of deceit and corruption that threatens not just his honour but his life.

I absolutely refuse to watch a film directed by a child-rapist.

Looks like an interesting movie.

I am sure it will not go without comment on release that its a film about an innocent man unjustly convicted who submitted to punishment with dignity made by a guilty man who fled from just punishment.
If he's implicitly trying to draw comparison between his case and that of Dreyfus, he's either brazen or crazy, or both.

It will be a cold day in hell before I give a single cent to a child rapist.

Yet, if his victim had been just five or six years older, it would be totally acceptable and ok no matter the age gap even though any moral and sane person knows it is still child rape. Not defending him though.
That being said, I watched the Pianist on Netflix and enjoyed it but I will probably skip this one. No interest in the event the movie is about.
