With the possibility of even more sites in the area.

Its great that they are able to preserve the colours of the paint used on the warriors – gives us wargamers a better chance of representing them more accurately on the tabletop.

Now if only Museum Miniatures would do these in their Z range.

This is pretty amazing. The site is huge, so I expect these discoveries to continue. My visit was very special. I also visited the Han dig, which is smaller, but no less impressive.

Ditto pikeman666. I went to both those sites in 2009. They rank as highlights in not just my visit to China, but my life.

That was a neat article!

I'm still waiting for the day when they'll finally excavate Emperor Qin's tomb. The tomb has yet to be excavated. Archaeological explorations are still working on sites of the necropolis surrounding the tomb. This includes the Terracotta Army to the east of the tomb mound. The Terracotta Army served as a garrison to the mausoleum and it's still being excavated.
