My newest book has been published. Covers the battles and warships from the arrival of commodore Perry in 1853 to the end of the Boshin war in 1869. Similar to my previous warship books.

Congratulations. Any chance a future volume might cover the Satsuma Rebellion of 1877?

It is mentioned in the book but, there was very few naval events and most of the ships involved are covered in the book.

Spithead are hoping to to make a set of Boshin war models that are featured in William Eugene Warner's new book. If we can recruit a small number of people then we will go ahead and make these models in 1/1200 scale. If you are interested in this project then please contact us at spitheadmodels@gmail.com and register your support.
