Hi all, The lovely 1/72 russian napoleonic hussars from Zvezda set 8055 seem to be out of production and near impossible to find apart from a very occasional box selling on ebay once in a blue moon. Is there any hope? |

I had a similar issue with Old Guard Grenadiers. Has Zvezda gone under or are they just having supply problems? |

They discontinued all the large sets in favor of their overpriced BS sets for their "Art of War" game. The founding father passed away and his stupid kids came up with this epic fail of an idea. On the other hand, the French light infantry set has recently been re-issued. The claim is that it's re-tooled, tho I doubt that. Excellent set in any case. So maybe there is hope. |

Thanks Paul, first place seems to have run out, am thinking about the second but 54 euro is quite a lot for 2 boxes hmm…. |

Maybe they will do occasional re-releases? In that case it could be worth waiting, I wasn't going to get around to painting them for a few years anyway! |

I had the same problem with the Zvezda Republican Rome set, 8034. For months it was not to be found and now it´s everywhere. Hopefully you will experience the same. |

Necropost, but They're back! Zvezda have re-released the Russian Napoleonic Hussars and they've hit the shelves at last. I just ordered a bunch from Dave at Caliver 😀 Of course it will be rather a longer wait for me to get around to painting them….. |
