after a longer x was and new years break, I got a pla printer for xmas more of that later, I started painting again . Here is the next figure:
As you can see I added some elefantgrass to the base. These were offcuts of the artificial grass mat I used to do elegant grass with for my jungle terrain. More here:https://wargamesgazette.com/2020/01/14/more-nathaniel-victor/ |

Well done for getting back into the saddle after the Christmas break. Just getting going myself. That elephant grass indeed looks "elegant"….very effective again. The background jungle is brilliant. You have a People's Liberation Army printer for Christmas?….many reinforcements on the way then! |

Really interesting. I know there is many a rural SE Asia village building commercially available. But does anyone do the French Colonial style buildings seen in Hue south of the river? |

Both are brilliant finds. I have spent ages going through their vast catalogues and have almost decided on a mini US Embassy in Saigon…made to measure! Thanks. Look forward to seeing tomrommel1's printed houses too. |

I think a mix of buildings from various ranges will give "the right" look. Some mediterranean and north african buildings would work as well. What I'm having trouble finding is something for the walls with balusters. |
