This was a fun commission to paint. The skis were a bit fiddly, but go together well. Hmm…All that's needed is a frozen alien.

More pics of various figures here: link

Wonderful paint work! Who makes those minis?

Nice painting! Since I do a lot of Dark Age figures who also use lots of furs, I will have to borrow some of your ideas!

The minis are two packs from Tiger Miniatures. Those on skis are AA01. The other is a packs of ICE08. I am not sure of the other four figures.

All you need now is a DC3 on skids and a tailplane sticking up out of the ice and you're off and running.

Thankyou all.

I do wonder if kids went off vegetables after the thing from another world came out? I guess triffids played their part also.

The man holding the helmet is worth pointing out, as it had me and the client both scratching our heads for a bit. I thought it a cannonball with excess flash, bit it appears to be a Spanish helmet.

I wish I was there. (Its a hot day)

Still one of my favorites.

I do wonder if we will ever get a James Bond type snow battle in Antarctica.

Hmm…

With a few drops of GI Joe for good measure. I remember they had some cool snow vehicles.

Suppose I'd best add a snow themed Batman figure or two, thank you Kenner.

Now I'm off and rambling.

Hey, I do have a big tub of snow flock for basing!
