I know the Army's 160th SOAR had MP5Ks in 1993. What would US Marine helicopter crews have used for personal defence if they were shot down circa 1988-1989? Just M9s? Anything else kept in the helicopter for close encounters?

I'm converting some Elhiem 20mm US helicopter crew meant for a Somalia '93 game..want to do a few scenarios with Phrogs shot down inbound to invade Cuba in 1988.

Thanks
