… near Area 51.

"Over a dozen mystery objects have appeared on the flightline at Tonopah Test Range- known by many as Area 51.

A hive of secret activity since the Cold War days, the base became a site for secret activity, be it flying captured MiGs to test their capabilities to flying F-117 Nighthawks and SR-71 Blackbirds.

The new objects appear to be located near the southernmost row of hangars, which were originally built for F-117s…."

It's Classified …

But maybe they are rolling those out for use in an area/region that has proven to be "problematic" for the US, Europe, etc., for over a number of decades. But again … it's classified … evil grin

If I was running Area 51 I'd have a stash of plywood and leftover parts and have guys bolt together some nonsensical aircraft for satellite flyover days. On every level that would improve security, and it would also be fun.

I think Andrew has it right.

If they put things on the flightline, they wanted them to be seen.

Yep, a new Camel Cavalry Corps would certainly scare the heck out of certain people, especially if they are equipped with "Camelback" water bladders for extremely long range patrols.

Camelback equipped laser-armed flying camels with the heads of great white sharks!
