I gather it's "ultra rare" due to the complete lack of skullz (TM). wink

joedog03 Jan 2020 11:41 a.m. PST

For that amount, I'm guessing you could commission a sculptor to make you several custom figures.

Crucible Orc03 Jan 2020 1:51 p.m. PST

just remember, its Ebay. Just because its priced that high doesn't mean its worth that much.

General Kirchner03 Jan 2020 4:51 p.m. PST

a lot of money for a lasgun oomie

+1 to Crucible Ork.

Someone is trying to sell a Terrahawk transport for GBP21000 on eBay; they might be rare however not that valuable.
Still, a GW collecter could pay close to USD100 for an unreleased metal.

2,000 UK for that fig? Am I seeing that right?

They can ask whatever price you want. That doesn't mean it'll sell for that.

Its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I've seen the figures for Lord and Lady Mcdeath on sale for 170 quid apiece. Which is why I used proxies instead. Hasslefree are in the process of making a not Lady Mcdeath according to their Facebook page.

I'd like to buy it but he does'n't ship to the US.

Zephyr104 Jan 2020 4:01 p.m. PST

I think I'll sculpt that in 15mm. Someday. (It's added to the list, somewhere in the low 1000's. I'm up to #25-30 right now… ;-)

MechanicalHorizon04 Jan 2020 6:31 p.m. PST

Hell, when I sold all my old GW stuff I had 12 unreleased Endeavor Cruisers, each one went for $1,000. USD

I'm no longer surprised at what people will pay for GW models.

Covert Walrus07 Jan 2020 4:48 p.m. PST

MechanicalHorizon, that's Battle Fleet Gothic, right? I'm not surprised to hear that as BFG commands high prices regularly mainly due to rarity and the small market of very keen players and collectors. I once sold a Castellan in my possession for over USD200.

Ghostrunner07 Jan 2020 5:13 p.m. PST

2000 Uk?

I could almost buy a whole squad of Terminators for that.

Covert Walrus20 Jan 2020 4:54 p.m. PST

There don't seem to be too many people interested as yet 😀

Mithmee21 Jan 2020 1:14 p.m. PST

Not going to sell though at that price.

Ghostrunner,

You can get more than a squad for that amount…

Though not much more with GW current pricing.
