Anyone in the North West Norfolk area interested in wargaming? Yes I know there is a club in King's Lynn but I gather it is very fantasy orientated while I am mostly historical these days. Personal interests… 15mm land warfare as I have a lot invested in terrain and buildings. Interested in other scales but not cash committed. Periods… The so-called Wars of the Roses (I am publishing my own rules, Bills, Bows and Bloodshed soon), WW2 Normandy (my late father was there), ACW The Anglo-Dutch naval wars WW1 naval (I have written and am play testing my own fast-play rules called Eggshells Armed With Hammers) I have a large collection of Wings of War/Wings of Glory models but am not quite happy with the rules I also play Zombicide! I have a general interest in other periods. I have a dedicated wargames room in my main house but I was lucky enough to inherit (in my back garden!) the 40-foot long ex-WW1/ex-WW2 'Sir Richard Burton Hut' which RB, Robert Hardy, Warren Mitchell and Danny Blancheflower used to use as an armed forces snack bar when they were in the RAF at the end of WW2. They were based in my village. It was later a Scout Hall and could be used for bigger games in the summer. Anyone interested is welcome to get in touch. Barry |

It's all a bit thin on the ground out in the sticks – I'm too far for regular games being outside Grantham but not so far for weekend occasisonal games though if that's a direction with the RB Hut? Too much stuff to list but link shows a selection Oh and my uncle served on Warspite :) |

Warspite, Where are your rules available? |

@both: Thank you. HMS Warspite is my favourite warship. @stewart46A: Bills Bows and Bloodshed was going to print in the summer but I was ill. Now being redrafted for a possible print this month. Eggshells Armed WIth Hammers is still testing. Both should eventually be available from myself or via e-bay and (maybe) a friendly wholesaler or two. Barry |

Hello Fellas – Looks like I've been let in, at last Strange layout compared to other forums I've used or belonged to Thanks for your help passing contact info' along Zipp' P.S, Don't tell Barry I've got 1,350th Acad'Minicraft HMS Warspite. Been MY favourite warship since teenage years (shoulda saved her BTW) N.W.Norfolk CAN be pretty remote in certain aspects, interests-wise Can relate to what Barry had written, regarding his opening line. All that KL Fantasy lark doesn't interest me, again. Historical is what I like. ( As Wargaming goes, the Battle of France interests me the most – May-June 1940 ) |
