Hi everyone, How do the vehicles made by Blue Moon in their Highways and Byways category compare scale wise to those made by Great Escape Games for the Chicago Way and the 1/48th scale vehicles made by Sloppy Jalopy? Thanks for your time. Tony |

Tony I was going to ask the very same question having spent part of the holidays painting the Great Escape models! Do you have a view on how well the Blue Moon figures themselves would mix with Great Escape/Copplestone? Regards Alan |

The gangster figures pair quite well with Warlord's partisans, if that helps. I'm a big fan of both for my CoC/BA games. |

Hi Alan, I wish I could answer your question. It sounds like I have the same figures as you do from Great Escape Games and Copplestone. I do not have any from Blue Moon to offer any comments. I understand wanting to gather comparative information before purchasing. The figures I am next considering to add to my collection are the Pulp Figures made by Bob Murch. Check all of the different categories as there are some scattered throughout that may be of interest not just in the Gangland Justice folder. pulpfigures.com Since you are in Australia, are you aware of the buildings made by Knights of Dice? Look that their Sentry City (Pulp). These are very well made and detailed. knightsofdice.com If you find out anything about the Blue Moon, please let me know. Have a good next year! Tony |

Tony Just finished painting up 17 of the Knights of Dice buildings. Sprayed first then assembled and then decorated with downloadeded period signage and advertising posters. Oddly enough the Restaurant from their China Town range makes a great Bank with its imposing entrance and the gas station ( a bit too futuristic for the 1930s) converted easily to a roadside diner. Sarissa UK also do some nice smaller shopfronts for things like barberhops etc Looked at the Pulp figures but postage seemed prohibitive to Australia even by USPS standards. A local dealer gets in Old Glory from time to time so i will ask him to add some of the Blue Moon figures to the next shipment for comparison. Best wishes for your gaming and the new year. Regards Alan |

Hi Alan, Look at Sally 4th in the UK for the Pulp Figures. They have a graduated discount based upon purchase size. They do not carry the complete line but carry quite a few. They can give you an estimated shipping charge in advance that may be cheaper than ordering from Canada. link I have an order in process from Sarissa and you are right they do have some nice buildings. The subway entrance by Knights of Dice is rather unique too. Another source for buildings is Multiverse Gaming. link I have an order outstanding there too. I have his old west line of buildings and like them. Andrzej is a super nice guy. Prices are reasonable and quality is excellent. Tony |
