A while back I finally got Blood and Plunder to the tabletop. In this game we had a British Buccaneer (pirate/privateer) force invade a Spanish village. The Spanish Militia and their Dutch allies took to arms to defend their homes and belongings.

looks like a few more turns of ship guns firing might have helped. Great looking game

That might be true Marcus, but they ran out of time on the tabletop. Perhaps the sloop firing would have helped more as it has 6 cannons instead of 4.

I don't think the sloop fired the cannons it paid for the whole game.
