Hi, anyone able to suggest suitable figures to represent Runequest Tusk Riders in 25/28mm? They are tusked humans riding giant boars. Thanks |

One idea is if you could find some Orc boar riders, that where more human and less massive jaw looking in design and just paint them flesh not green. |

Palewarrior – thanks. Any suggestions for manufacturers? |

Forge of Ice and Acheson Creations both make suitable mounts (without saddles) in their prehistoric ranges. Acheson also have a figure that could be a Tusk Rider – only one pose though. :-( I'll try and find the links… |

altfritz – thanks. The mounted would be about right, but with dollar exhange rate and tbe need for six of them and the postage and customs I don't think I am going to afford that purchase. Some of that Forge of Ice stuff looks brilliant. Thanks again. |

Acheson does have a discount membership club you might like to look into. |

Note also that there are plastic wolf riders coming from North Star Miniatures that may open up more conversion options. |

Hi Altfritz, I saw the North Star wolf riders and I expect i will get some [I retire in May so need to stock up :-) ] They may do as s substitute for boars – they're only needed for a few sessions. thanks again. Simon |
