But don't sacrifice the beer to make room, that would be sacrilege. Come to Darwin; it's only high 30s but stinking humid as well…. |

Quite hot around there. Really cold up here where I am. |

I'm dreaming of a white-hot Christmas. Hang in there. Now I am on the hunt for Zooper Doopers; don't have them in the States. |

The Bureau of Meteorology lady starts out sort of tentative, almost like she expects people to throw tomatoes at her. Just doing conversions in my head, but I think the 45 degrees in Adelaide (oh, come on, it's easier to calculate in my head than 43 or 44.7!) is the sort of thing we in the US associate with high for the nation in Death Valley, California, in mid-August. Yea, I can see that. One of the major reasons why I dislike resin vehicles. Plastics are usually a bit more robust, but could be susceptible too, I guess. The San Joaquin Valley in California regularly sees those temps in the Summer as well, sometimes for weeks at a time. |

Get something a bit bigger than a mini fridge so you can hop in, too. |

Collection won't fit in a bar fridge- will need to hire a freezer truck. 😜 |

-One of the major reasons why I dislike resin vehicles. Plastics are usually a bit more robust, but could be susceptible too, I guess. That's completely backwards. Plastics are the first to go, resin can depend on whether it's solid like older GZG tanks, or delicate like aircraft. |

Modern GWs and the like with all their "sticky out" bits and models attached to the base by a hair may be a problem, if hips is so suseptable. A thin part with weight on it may droop? But with a melting point over 100 degrees, I doubt it. Resin, not so sure. Any horror stories out there? |

Yes, I've seen multiple plastic vehicles look like they've been deformed in high-speed incidents. Of course minis sometimes get left in cars, and modern cars shut-down and buttoned-up in the sun are well on their way to becoming hot enough to kill you. |
