I have a SF game I'd like to sell in the marketplace. (Please don't ask what it is -- I don't want to violate any TMP rules.) Is now a good time to post it? Or being the holiday gift-giving season, is everyone already spending their money and have nothing left? |

After the holidays people might have extra cash to spend? It's a mixed bag. |

Why don't you just post it in the marketplace and see what happens? |

Yeah, I think cloudcaptain is right. In my case, I tend to get some hobby money as a gift, but I know for a bunch of my friends January and February are lean months for hobby spending. |

I've been told the best times to sell are spring after tax day and fall after Labor Day. |

Set your price, and it sells or it doesn't. Then relist later if needed. If it were an auction it might be different. |

Better now than after Christmas, I suspect, for many things, since once the money is gone, it's gone, generally. |

I have found, in my years of wargame sales, that selling during Christmas most often sucks. Better to wait a month. No idea why. |

I had to re-up my membership but it's posted now -- Human Interface Be a Better Human Kickstarter Special Edition. Cyberpunk board game from Postindustrial Games (Poland). Fun game with terrific figures! |
