Many of you probably have heard that the actor René Auberjonois died on the 8th of December.

What I did not see in any obituary is the fact that is most relevant was here – he was a direct descendant of Joachim Murat and Caroline Bonaparte.

'Treacherous priest'? I thought he was on the hero's side … oh wait a minute, that must be the loyalist view.

Seriously though, I most entertaining actor who will be missed.

Rest in peace.

His character in The Patriot was a minister, Reverend Oliver.

His role in M*A*S*H was a priest, Father John Mulcahy.

I enjoyed both performances. Requiescat in pace.

He had to put up with alot of aggravation from Denny Crane and Alan Shore. A versatile actor, will be missed!
