Inspired by the current "Blakes Seven" poll, and the joyous return of the Expanse in series 4 on Amazon next week, I'm wondering who your favourite character in the TV or book series is? Tough call as there a lot of great characters on the Expanse (great series, great books too) – I like Drummer for sure especially as she is played by Cara Gee, a good Objibwe girl from Calgary For me for favourite character I am torn between Amos Burton (essentially good guy who can do very, very bad things) and Alex Kamal (good guy who seems to serve as the crew's conscience) – I am going with Alex as he not only worries about morality but in a pinch will always do the right thing |

Amos is definitely interesting. Amoral, but he recognizes this and looks to others for social cues. |

WHile it will vary depending on the episode or chapter, it always comes back to Amos getting the best lines, and taking care of business. |

Amos for me too but there are no "meh" characters on the show. I watch the Expanse like some people watch the playoffs. |

Can't pick one. There are no bad characters on the show. Even the villains have relatable motivations and actions. |

Like many I am fond of Amos, it is an interesting twist on the violent psyco character but I am very fond of Camina Drummer. |
