While trolling the internet and youtube, I noticed a Russian post that show cheap plastic knock offs of the 15mm Zvezda WW 2 Russian and German WW 2 tanks. They looked to be soft plastic molded in black and green plastic. Some tanks had tank commanders and elevating guns which the Zvezda models did not have. I do not speak Russian, so I could not figure out where to order these for purchase. Any one here happen t know where to purchase them? I thank you in advance for any help. I would love to see which Zvezda items the company has and how much they are for the real Zvezda kits have gone up 3 (three) times what the kits used to be in my area and I would love to increase my forces with these. |

If they are knock offs then you shouldn't buy them full stop. |

If they are knock offs then you shouldn't buy them full stop. Agreed. That'd be supporting a crime and probably you'd be committing a crime. Don't purchase them. Instead, do the right thing and report it. |

Most likely, this is not about copies of "ZVEZDA" models. I traded these models some time ago:
This is a completely original development, these models are made of polyethylene. These models are usually sold in sets of 12 tanks of various types (6 German and 6 Soviet). Produced since the 90s, designed for children's games, but have a successful scale of 1: 100. These are not copies and you will not violate anyone else's rights by acquiring such models. Unfortunately, finding them now is quite problematic, since they are discontinued. However, several years ago I was able to get a certain circulation for my store. But the manufacturer himself is now engaged in another business and is very reluctant to take on this work))) |

If they are facsimiles of Zvezda models, they are of shoddy quality. The lack of detail such as grooves on the tracks is simply appalling. |

A shame. I could of used those my self. How much was a bag of 12? |

Found these on ebay. Scales vary all over the place from 1/77 to 1/111 but are "1/100-ish". Those of you on a budget can't be choosers I guess: auction
These are also dirt cheap but at 1/144 (10mm) may be too small for your needs: auction |

Someone is knocking of Zvezda models, but not tanks! You'll find 1:72 artillery pieces from their WWII game system if you poke about among the Chinese sellers of models on ebay. Weird choice if you ask me – someone's also knocking off, very badly, an equally weird selection of modern and WWII Caesar figures. If you're willing to take to ebay you can find Zvezda tank models being sold direct from Russia for reasonable sums compared to Europe even including postage (don't know how postage to the US would work out). |

If you're willing to take to ebay you can find Zvezda tank models being sold direct from Russia for reasonable sums You sure can. I recently bought a few Zvezda Ferdinands, PzIV-H's without zimmerit and Panthers on Ebay from sellers in Russia and Estonia for my FOW German Kursk army at around $3 USD plus $3 USD more shipping ($6 total) apiece. Not bad at all and shipping was fast considering the distance. |

It's sad that these are no longer available. |

For that price ($0.35) it would be an awesome starting point for children today to get into miniatures! |

honestly man, buy yourself an Elegoo Mars resin printer for $250 USD, go on thingiverse.com and search for bergman(3d artist with scores of 1/100 and 1/200 tanks and vehicles). His files are all FREE. you'll be printing a plate of 3-4 amazingly detailed and accurate resin tanks/vehicles in 3.5-5 hours. Average cost of a resin t-34 or pziv is about 35-50 cents and theyre the best sculpts youve seen |
