Perhaps of interest to some:

Venture Miniatures is hosting Nosworthy Tactical Studies where Brent Nosworthy has posted several articles about tactical issues during the Age of the Arquebuse and Musket. The first is "French Methods of Delivering Fire: 1688-1714 – Part 1" which is a fairly exhausted look at French methods during the Nine Years' War and the War of Spanish Succession. The second, "On the Attack and Defence of Heights or Unfortified Heights" is an excerpt from the British Military Library published during the Napoleonic era.

Venture Miniatures is also offering a new book by Nosworthy entitled "English Infantry & Cavalry Tactics: 1672 – 1698."
