Does anybody know who had the rights to the rule sets for Table Top Games. I'm after a copy of Wargames Rules for the 1879 Zulu War and Boer Zulu Conflict by Richard Tory. Published by Tabletop Games, Nottingham, UK © Copyright Richard Tory and Tabletop Games 1982. Cover Illustration by Ian Cook. It appears that TTG have ceased to exist and I assume that the rights to their stuff has been transferred to someone. thanks in anticipation Rabbit |

I used to have these rules, but didn't think that much of them. They seemed to be a colonial version of WRG's Ancient rules. |

It looks as if 2006 was the official year of TTG's demise. I never knew there was a connection with Heritage Models: link |

I had a number of Tabletop Games rules sets. I had high hopes for Shock of Impact which had some very interesting mechanisms, like the "30 yard test" for charging cavalry, but were not good at dealing with melees with more than one unit on a side. I really liked Retinue, their medieval skirmish rules. I also liked their 15mm ancients ranges in particular the Late Romans, Goths, and Blemmyes. I think I also had some of the Laserburn 15mm miniatures as well. |

The TTG 15mm ancient figures are available from link In my experience, the molds seem to have gotten some wear in the intervening years. |

The rules were bought by someone in reading who turned TTG into a distributor and then vanished… I believe that with the sale of TTG the rights to the rules reverted to their authors. Mike |

The 1879 rules crop up quite regularly (and cheaply) on EBay – I bought my copy for about £4.00 GBP around 5 years ago. |

Thank you for all your replies, I suspect the Author may no longer be with us. £30.00 GBP seems a bit steep, so it's back to searching evilbay rabbit |

Thanks for the link to their 15mm range… I don't play in 15mm any longer but it was nostalgic to look at them again. |
