Some of you may have seen these figures on display at the Sash and Saber booth at Fall In. In collaboration with Sash and Saber we are moving forward with plans for a line of Great Northern War figures in 40mm. The picture, up on the Sash and Saber Facebook page, shows the beginning of the Swedish line infantry, to be followed by cavalry and then Russian infantry and cavalry, with artillery for both sides also thrown in the mix. We will be announcing a Kickstarter project for the Swedes and Russians in early 2020. facebook.com/sashandsaber If successful we plan to expand the Swedish and Russian lines and add Cossacks, Saxons, Danes, Turks and Poles. link |

I love the figures as this is a time period I love but I wish that sash and saber would concentrate on finishing existing lines like 7yw before moving on. |

Not to worry Generalstoner, while this project is being done under the Sash and Saber banner it is not taking resources away from their already existing lines. The sculptor for the GNW line is new to 40mm figures and doing a great job complimenting the existing Sash and Saber figures. |

Should be an interesting line. Since many of the GNW battles were not too large I think 40mm lends itself well to that period. |
