Doing a quiz for the Club's AGM and trying to remember where I have read the above. Besieger asks defender to surrender the town as he wishes to kiss the former's mistress on the hand, To which the defender replies that if he can get in within a month he can kiss here wherever he pleases.

Searched the relevant books on my shelves but can't find this gem. Anyone here help me out?
