Can anyone help me with suggestions on 28mm female minis suitable for WW2 or VBCW?

I think Bad Squiddo would be the obvious choice:

Are you talking combat personnel, or are you talking civilians. Pulp figures makes lots of civilian and quasi combat types. The new dangerous dames kick starter set has a dozen or so female types. However you can't get them in packs all the same they come in a variety pack of six or eight I think. Siberian miniatures makes an excellent range of Russo Polish war female soldiers. Bad Squiddo Make mostly civilians and a few women's auxiliary types. Those Templar figures, by burns, are on the petite side but noticed that the rifles are full scale 28 mm. I am overstocked with these and will be putting them up for sale when I get home next week. Very clever sculpting, usually smaller figures have smaller weapons.

The iron clad women's Militia fit in nicely with their miners and other companies miners, see here

Don't forget the Hinterland figures. Some very nice ladies in naval attire, and other interesting ones.

Thanks guys, Bad Squiddo look very British and very useful.

And rather good timing, I saw that Bad Squddo have a British Home Front kickstarter which will increase their range of Women of WW2. Rather tempting!

In addition to those already mentioned above (especially Bad Squiddo!), there are some individual women to be found from Wargames Foundry link

Statuesque also have some gorgeous female minis that might fit your needs – a couple in their pulp range and their resistance fighters, though the latter might be a bit too Russian-looking …

Also worth looking at Artizan's "Thrilling Tales" and WW2 ranges. Copplestone castings might have some suitable figures too.

+1 for Bad Squiddo. The figures are scaled to be compatible with several other common ranges (if that is important to you).

Try Elite Wargames and Models they have a range of WWII female figures.

Looking to start a VBCW faction. Does anyone know if these miniatures are still sold anywhere? I've looked for a few hours, and I haven't found them for purchase:
