Many years ago I picked up a large box of 15mm Essex ancient/medieval figures at the Little Wars Bring and Buy. Included were about 16 or so cavalry figures without horses. I put them away thinking maybe I'll make casualty figures or similar. Last year I joined the Forged in Battle Kickstarter and (spent way too much money for an old man like me) ordered lots of different cavalry packs. Each come with 1 extra cavalry figure but no horse. Again what to do.

I took advantage of a QRF figures, out of UK, sale to purchase some of their just horses sets. Near perfect fit for all of them!

Shout out to both companies for fast, friendly service, small sales and really nice figures.
Unfortunately I now have over 30 more cavalry to paint.

Note that Viking Forge sells horses seperately (and, along with their figures, one miniature at a time).

I used to have a bunch of figures that I had to figure out how to complete. Since I have finished my conversion project, I have a bunch of completed things to paint … now that's a horse of a different colour!

Da-dum-crash!

Good luck! It's that special feeling you get when something works out. Finally. I love it when a plan comes together.
