Many years ago, I had a pair of Spanish army khaki-colored canvas pants.

Supposedly designed by Franco himself, they lacked front pockets because he hated seeing soldiers standing with their hands in their pockets, and they had a round reinforcement in the seat that was a perfect target for the dictator's boot.

Great pants for hiking and camping and stuff, though.
