I've seen illustrations of both white and blue uniforms for 1882. I think white was the summer uniform and perhaps blue the winter? |

Also heavily depended upon the supply situation and where they were located. Some units on garrison duty, especially along the frontiers or in the Sudan, may not have had a shipment of uniforms for years. I've read some accounts of Sudanese units in the Egyptian army that were almost forgotten about! |

My Egyptians are in white and my Sudanese have the blue coats with white pants. Some of the more irregular units (early Egyptian, Gordon's Sudanese, and other loyal natives are in white. |

Colonial Egyptian gunners can be in summer whites or winter blues. There references for the use of both. It comes down to personal preference. I paint mine white with officers in blue. Cher's, Sgt G link
