I got my hands on a promo box of the forthcoming Judge Dredd Miniatures game from Warlord Games. This video takes a look at the promo material and gives you an idea of what to expect from the final product: youtu.be/LLp3MEoJYNQ |

Ok a poll needs to be done. Just how many gamers are there for this? In Britain & the EU, United States, and Asia Pacific. Reason I ask my group was discussing the business model for Warlord. Will they make money on this ( at least recover their mold costs ). |

Dredd is very popular in the Commonwealth, so you could include South Africa and Canada there as well. I imagine it'll be more popular than Strontium Dog, for one, and given recent inquiries myself, I think it would be more played than Wild West Exodus. You also have to add in gfigure collecters who don't game as well, which could well double or triple the sales, to be honest. |

Dredd is very well known within the UK and has always been a popular character. This will do well, just based from the amount of views I've had in the last two days of this video on a very small Youtube channel. |

Judge Dredd has had comics in both the UK (lomg-running) and USA (not so long running), at least one series of novels, and two films. There are a large number of people who could potentially be interested – but it's a property that has been done several times in miniatures, and never really lasted (much like Doctor Who). |
