It's former usage as a center for people with disabilities seems quite appropriate if the need still exists.

But, if we're going to have a poll I'll throw "charging station for electric vehicles" out there. Gives you just enough time to sip a Latte and bemoan the state of the nation while your zero emissions automobile charges.

Sounds like a win-win. A police station will give pause to fringe-dwellers wanting to visit, plus the desk sergeant can have fresh flowers on his podium every day to greet new customers.
