Nice recap sounds like a successful weekend and I'm stealing that idea for the palisade wall for my Flint & Feather project Iroquois village.

I did not see where it says what the palisade is made of. A bamboo place mat?

I had a set of outdoor lights for the patio that deconstructed to get a similar fence to the one in the village. Think they were from Michaels or maybe AC Moore.

79thPA, it didn't but it looks to me like one of those bamboo beach mats for lying on the sand. Placemats may be easier to deal with.

For those who asked, yes that's a placemat I used for the palisade. My wife was about to throw them out, and I said wait a sec, I have an idea….
