A group of local gamers are starting an imagination campaign based very late in the 18th century. An example of one of the armies is shown on my blog.

I think these ImagiNations games sound great! Looking forward to reading more about your project.

I don't understand the topic (1798) with the blog (austrians for 1866)

Hmm. If someone told me to start an imagi-nation in 1798, it would be the Hibernian Republic--which would become the Kingdom of Ireland about 1803 under His Majesty King Lucien I. I can see the MAA book now.

Brownland….the campaign is set startin' in 1798, with turns that will vary in length from 6 months to a few weeks. The use of the 1866 Austrians is due to a dearth of troops in my collection nearer the period, although the 1866 Austrian line is in a uniform not unrecognizable from earlier times. That's the beauty of the imaginations…flexibility.

robert p. I'd enjoy that MAA book as well!
