"On the third day of our Nottingham trip we went to the hallowed halls of Michael Perry. And here too a game with a setting waiting for us, which was still relatively alien to me. A battle was played at the end of the 1st Carlist War after Black Powder rules. Besides Alan and Michael Perry, Aly Morrison, Oliver Gommer, Frank Bauer and me, the famous game designer Alessio Cavatore was part of our group of players…."
