Help me out guys.

I'm painting some Front Rank WSS figures as Dutch infantry, Brandenburg Regiment in particular.

What colour should I paint the cockades? I am guessing orange.

A quick look through Robert Hall, etc's "Uniforms and Flags of the Dutch Army and the Army of Liege 1685-1715" does not show any cockades for enlisted men, even after the adoption of the tricorne. When officers are shown with cockades, they are black.

OK, I can go for black unless someone else has differing sources.

Many thanks.
