I saw a really nice setup for Spectre at MillenniumCon with a large tanker, so I bought the Green Beret pack and rules.

Online, it appears and much of the line is Sold Out. Is there a history of Spectre actually re-releasing those that are sold out and a customary timeline? I signed up for the notification of re-release on some. I'd like to get another set of good guys and two sets of bad guys. I've not seen those sold out elsewhere online, including eBay.

It is interesting the level to which newer projects seem to sell out. I wanted to get the Blood on the Aventine set for Gangs of Rome to try you, but that and others are sold out. Not sure the business model on these, unless they were advertised as limited edition collectibles.

Try the Bread and Circuses box for Gangs of Rome, it's awesome!

I ordered that one already. I'm might order the unfinished temple from Sarissa, as it really looks good.

Do you have suggestions for other figs that are not sold out I should look at getting to round out things? I've not played the game, but am adding games that use less than 50 figs that can be played on 4x4 to my collection. 2 hour session games, etc.

I "think" the only things Spectre doesn't remake are specials for Kickstarters or something like that. As for regular stock it's kind of in waves. I've ordered more than I need so I don't follow their site for new/replenished stock but their FB page doesn't blow up with anger. If you're a FB user you can try their group and ask, it may be more visible than here.

For more modern figs Empress and Eureka make some and there's others but those seem to match if that's important. Others like The Assault Group, Special Artizan Service, Full Battle Rattle (?) and others are out there but they may not be as good size wise but they are all about the same height (just girth may be off).

Spectre seems to do things in waves, waiting to restock until there are a lot of things to be cast up (I suspect that their metal caster has a relatively high minimum order size).

Keep checking back every couple weeks, though IIRC it took me a couple months before what I wanted came back into stock.

They generally are terrible at maintaining stock levels, which I suppose is a nice problem to have. It's been an ongoing issue since the beginning. Sign up for the email notifications and then pounce the second you see what you want in stock!

You also have footsore usa, that makes modern, with quite some overlap with what specter and empress makes.
