FYI, HMGS member Jared Fishman will present a lecture on the Battle of Hattin 1187 at the HMGS War College on Saturday morning at Fall In 2019.

Jared is the faculty moderator of the Wargaming Club at The Hackley School in NY. His talk will be an introduction to the related wargame to be played later that day.

Hope to see you there.

Darn, I am busy running the other Battle of Hattin or I would want to attend this too!

Dervel,

I noticed that there were other Hattin games on the schedule (including yours), both on Friday and Saturday.

My suggestion is that if you can't attend Jared's lecture, then stop by the Hackley Game Club's version of the battle:

S:300 Kingdom of Heaven: The Battle of Hattin, 1187
Sat. 2pm. 10 players/5 hours.

It just so happens that there is another Hattin game at Sat. 2pm (S:284), so you and others will have plenty from which to select.

One of the things that the HMGS War College wanted to do at Fall In was to offer games that were connected to the lecture topics.

Enjoy the games.

What a great idea to co-ordinate the lectures with the games. "Chaos, Confusion, and Casualties will be held in BF-62

Friday: 11am F:100 and F:102
Friday: 6pm
Saturday: 11am and 6pm S:101 and S:103

54mm, 8 players, 4 hours
