About to paint up some 28mm Offensive Minis for Carentan.

Two questions -

I read that smocks were camo in Sumpfmuster '43. What are thoughts on some being Spintermuster '41 still? And some in the basic Grey-Green smocks?

I'm thinking a mix of Pea Dot and Feldgrau. Helmet covers being Oak Leaf (I read online that they did not do helmet covers in Pea Dot, which seems odd). Thoughts?

Can't say for the former.

I believe the latter is correct, though I've read enterprising troops cut their own helmet covers from pea dot fabric, and added them to their helmets.

No helmet covers in pea dot… Especially in Normandy.
