Happy Veterans Day to all veterans.

All veterans, both living and dead, should be remembered today.

Originally in the United States, it was known as Armistice Day.

It still is in the UK.

Best regards and remembrance to all veterans living and dead and those still serving.

Still armistice day here (wapenstilstand) in Belgium and an official holyday. My grandfather fought in the trenches for four years and was in hospital on november 11 after being shot through both jaws and losing all but three of his teeth.

I ran our church bell 21 times at 11:00 am this morning in the hope of continuing peace.

Remembrance Day in Canada and taken very seriously, including being a government and hospital holiday

It's a holiday in the US also. Our town has a parade every year in honor of it and the Veterans. We also have a wreath laying ceremony at our Veterans' Cemetery.
