Does anybody at all game this battle? I know it's very obscure at least to non-Indians but was THE bloodiest battle of the entire 18th century, far worse than Malplaquet, which was the bloodiest 18th cent battle in Europe. I would love to get some Afghan and Maratha soldiers and play it on the table but I have never heard of anybody else doing it or where the soldiers could be purchased from, if anybody makes them at all. |

I game28mm SYW India…have not done Panipat..but I don't have Afghans. Indus Minatures makes a ton of figures Maratta Baluchi/Hindu cav, infantry artillery elephants….Eureka makes Mysore /Bengali/native infantry and Rajput Horse(Mysore horse Coming soon).Iron Duke makes a great Maharatta Cavalry and infantry.plus wagons and Mysore oxen.all fit well together which is rare. |
