"Other hobbies besides miniature gaming??" Topic

I was wondering what other interests hobbyists have that they spend money and/or time on i.e. fishing, hunting, woodworking, re-enacting, collecting stamps, etc etc.

Scuba diving. I also like to visit museums and historical sites, but that might be called an interest as opposed to a hobby.

Grousing on internet forums.

BJJ and Judo.

Like to read too, but many gamers do.

Recreational shooting. Less real firearms since the public range was shut down and more high end pellet guns these days.

I listen to a lot of music and curate my collection of 1,500 vinyl records. It sucks up a lot of game money, but I have enough lead (and plastic) to keep me busy the rest of my days.

Board games, role-playing games. I guess I don't wander too far.

Board games, RPG's, PC based Strategy games… like manyslayer, I know my place.

Herpetology, concentrating on the Western Hemisphere members of order Crocodilia, in particular Alligator mississippiensis, the American alligator. I do most of this in the national park where I used to work, so I get to interact with visitors on occasion, which usually turns into me giving The Alligator Lecture. The visitors seem to enjoy it but the alligators have not commented on it yet.

I also read a lot.

Reading is my number one hobby. Gaming and painting are secondary. Cooking is a new pursuit in the last few years though not sure it is a hobby per se.

Nope. Miniature war gaming is the only hobby. The rest of the time is taken up with work and family.

Have done some wood carving, have a idea for a project but haven't carved anything in years.

ACW reenacting,playing guitar,writing genre fiction or at least trying to,collecting stuff.
