So last week we tried our hand at an "open plan"version of the classic skirmish game from Alternative Armies, "Firefight".. and there was much rejoicing! skinflintgames.wordpress.com/2019/10/31/friday-night-firefight
Great fun to revisit this classic ruleset, some really innovative ideas, fast playing and dynamic |

Firefight is a great set of rules. Glad to see it is still being played. |

I remember stumbling across it back in 93/94 when 40k was just starting to get a little "is that it?" for me.. this was a revelation! Alternating activations, fast and furious scuffles in tiny buildings – immense fun |

I wonder how Firefight would work for Vietnam? |

I got my hopes up you meant R Talsorian's original combat system. It had miniature rules, after all. Looks like you had a great fight there. |
