I'm sorry but as far as I know the 1st Husars had blue pants, as was the rest of their uniform. Red pants was only in use after the Napoleonics wars and with quite some change in the uniform style all together.

The uniform of the 1st hussars evolved greatly overtime. I wanted to depict a very specific period, around 1808-1810.

Fine regiment.
Perhaps then the "(early full dress)" should be removed, as the period is not by definition, early.

I put "early full dress" to distinguish it from another 1st hussars regiment in "late campaign dress" that i've painted before ;-)
