Does anybody convert Italian risorgimento figures for acw games? I'm considering buying garibaldini and paint them as confederate or union for extra poses or just to create ragged units for skirmish games. Has anybody seen this Kickstarter: kck.st/2nxkpSQ ? The figures look awesome. |

? The reverse I could understand – in days gone by when there no Garibaldini figures in production, but… There must currently be about 100 ACW ranges in each of the popular figure sizes, and not many less in the others, so I think I can assert with some confidence that the answer to your question is a thundering… NO!!! |

As Martini has said above, I have done the opposite. There are so many ranges of figures specifically for the ACW that I've never had the need to convert. On the flip side, a food deal of my Garibaldini are actually ACW figures. |

I agree. So many ACW ranges from which to choose. But some of the Risorgimento figures could be used for other European conflicts, such as Franco-Austrian War (1859) or the Franco-German War (1870-1871. Jim |

I have thought about purchasing the Waterloo 1815 Set 015 of Italian Bersaglieri (1859) and making them into the Garibaldi Guard (39th New York Infantry Regiment). However, there are about 100 projects ahead of this one in the queue! |
