Just found out last week Michael Harris, author of Brandywine, is doing a book on the battle of Germantown, which was fought near Philadelphia several weeks later. Amazon says it will be released July 3, 2020, while Savas Beatie, the company that will publish it, says June 2020. I loved Brandywine and have been interested in Germantown for years so I can hardly wait for this one. It's both good and bad since it will give me something to look forward to, yet I probably will be driven crazy waiting for June/July. |

One of the bigger battles that has not yet had a decent book written on it. I liked Brandywine, I'll be buying this one too. Now, will someone please do a book on Springfield? There's only one, and its over 40 years old! |
