Here is a picture of some of the command figures for the French Cavalrie wearing bearskin hats that I've commissioned for myself. I think that the painter has done some amazing work with these Minden figures and I'm looking forward to having both regiments in my SYW French army.

The two regiments are the Royal Allemand (left) and the Fitzjames Horse (right). A number of foreign cavalry regiments in French service wore the bearskin hats rather than the tricorn.
