Looking for a 'how to' on painting some winter camo on infantry troops for a modern winter battle?

Any suggestions on sites and/or colours?

I remember once seeing a photo of Canadian soldiers wearing white pants and dark green-brown disruptive pattern jackets.

spray them white with an army painter soft wash ?
