Listening to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, you would be forgiven for believing that the Iranians are a few short years away from sweeping the entire Middle East like Alexander the Great rampaged through the Asian continent…"

They have been a joke since before the Iran-Iraq War.

Comes from the same school of thought that have us " The Japanese will never make good pilots"

Same thinking as: An Asian army could never drive the British out of Malaya and capture Singapore. Or drive the Americans out of the Philippines.

So let's look at Iranian weapons and equipment, command and control structures, logistics, and the other things we look at when developing a historical wargame.
